November: Apples, Pumpkins & All the Fall Feels 🍎🎃🍁


November flew by in the coziest way possible! Our classroom was filled with apples, pumpkins, and all the fall vibes as we explored the season through hands on activities, stories, and lots of learning fun.


We spent time working on creative fall art projects. The children made their own placemats using the colors of fall, exploring reds, oranges, yellows, and browns while strengthening fine motor skills. Another favorite activity was creating a fall nature collage using leaves and sticks we collected together from the playground. This hands on experience helped the children connect with nature and express their creativity in meaningful ways.


One of the highlights of our November was our Family Partnership Day, where we welcomed families into the classroom for a special afternoon together. The children were able to paint sun catchers and showing off their creativity while working side by side with their families. To make the day even sweeter, everyone enjoyed a delicious cupcake, which brought lots of smiles. It was such a meaningful time to connect, create memories, and celebrate our classroom community.


November was a month full of discovery, creativity, and growth. We are so proud of how much the children continue to learn and thrive, and we look forward to carrying this excitement into December as we welcome a new season and new adventures!

Pete the Cat Helped Us Rock Our First Month of School!  September was such an exciting month as we kicked off a brand-new school year. We learned all about making friends, exploring our classroom, and getting into the groove of school routines. To make it even more fun, we had a Pete the Cat theme, because starting school is all about rocking our shoes, trying new things, and keeping a positive attitude. We’re off to a groovy start, and we can’t wait to share all the fun learning ahead and all the fun activities we did this month! September was all about learning how to be part of our school family and getting into the rhythm of our daily routines. October Blog: Exploring Nocturnal Animals and the Starry Sky!                 October was such a wonderful month in our classroom! The children are really starting to settle into our daily routine and becoming more familiar with our class schedule. This month brought lots of exciting activities and new experiences. We began music therapy, social group time, speech therapy, and even dog therapy and the kids adjusted beautifully to all the changes!                We also had some extra-special events this month. Our Halloween trick-or-treating day was a big hit, parents joined us, and the kids had so much fun showing off their costumes and collecting treats around the school.
